Here is a nice exercise by Dorina Simeonov .
My coworker lent me The Sketchnote Handbook by Mike Rohde and I read it over the Easter long weekend. I was blown away that with some practice and concentration, the doodles I was making at meetings could become a little more than scribbles. Below is one of the first exercises from this book which was a lot of fun. You have to draw these items from your imagination using basic shapes. I did it on a sketchbook because the book was not my own. I struggled with some of the images – the minivan looks more like a bus for example.
