Sketchnote in classroom: Stewart Hudnall

Check out how my friend Stewart Hudnall is adapting sketchnote techniques to his classroom.

 He wrote:

Here is my first attempt of combining Sketchnotes and Teaching. I used the skills I learned in Sketchnoting and applied them to my classroom. I turned off the typical PowerPoint and rolled up the screen and handed out blank sheets of paper.
I told them that we were going to do notes a little different today. I tried this on my two rowdiest classes and it was wonderful to see how the kids reacted to the change. All of a sudden they quieted down and were paying attention. They loved it!! Afterwards a lot of students told me we needed to do that more often and that they loved it. Thanks for all the help with your first book, I can't wait for the second one to come out.
